Larry J. Williams is currently Sales Manager in the Danville office of J. Rockcliff Realtors before coming to Danville, he was Vice President/Manager in the Montclair/Piedmont office. Prior to coming to J. Rockcliff Realtors in 2007, he sold real estate under Intero Real Estate Services and Alain Pinel Realtors. Larry has been counted among the top-selling realtors for the last several years. His real estate philosophy is simple but successful: to establish and build lifelong relationships with his clients.
Larry entered the real estate arena in 1993, following a 29 year career with IBM. Recruited by IBM before he completed college, Larry became a trailblazer there, holding the distinctions of becoming a manager at IBM at the age of 24 and the first Black manager in IBM’s Houston office. His IBM years took him from Texas to California, New York, New Jersey and back to California with job related promotions.
In addition to careers in the real estate and technology industries, Larry has also worked as a management and training consultant with Griggs Achievement. Having worked since the age of 12, Larry values the range and depth of experiences he has had in various professions including executive management, technology, human resources, training, financial investing and consulting.
Larry attended Texas Southern University and the University of Houston and ultimately earned degrees in Business Management and Business Administration at Syracuse University.
As a widower, Larry spent many years juggling his professional positions with his role as a single father to his now-adult children — Lisa, Loren and Larry, Jr. He is the proud grandfather of six.
From 1980 to 1983, Larry served as chairman of the Urban League, Sacramento and served on the boards of the Sacramento Convention Center and Visitor’s Bureau and Sacramento Ballet. Today, he serves as Chairman of the Activity Committee of Epsilon Beta Boule' Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc..
Larry lives in the East Bay, is an avid reader and enjoys cooking. He also likes to follow professional sports and get involved in meaningful community service but his true passion is re-designing and renovating homes.
