Executive Leadership

Jeff Sposito
President
Mr. Sposito has over 30 years of experience in real estate management and ownership.

As the President and Founder of J. Rockcliff Realtors (named after his late mother), Mr. Sposito personifies J. Rockcliff’s company vision. He has risen through the ranks of the real estate industry and is dedicated to best serving the needs of the client by hiring the best agents and providing the tools needed to succeed. He started his career as a top producing agent and moved up into several prestigious management and ownership positions. Over the three decade span of his career, Mr. Sposito has won numerous awards, including Realtor of the Year, Outstanding Leadership Award and was recognized by the California Association of Realtors as having the best real estate exchange in the state of California.

Reinforcing his leadership role within the real estate industry, Mr. Sposito is currently a Director for the California Association of Realtors and he also serves as a Director of the National Association of Realtors. Additionally, he was President of the Bay East Association of Realtors in 1985 and President of the Contra Costa Association of Realtors in 2001, the only individual to have ever held both these prestigious titles.

In 2002, Mr. Sposito was invited and spoke in front of then Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan and the Federal Reserve Board about issues within the real estate industry in Washington, D.C. He has partcipated as a key note speaker at many seminars and conventions.

He is an Eco Broker and holds CRB (Certified Residential Broker), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) designations. Mr. Sposito lives in Danville with his wife, Teresa. Together, they have two grown sons, Shane, who is a pilot in the United States Army, and Jeffrey, who is a student at Chico State.

Robin Dickson
Executive Vice President, Manager
Ask Robin Dickson where she gets her energy, and she’ll tell you it's nothing. Others may say her can-do spirit is just her nature. But it makes no difference, whether this high-powered businesswoman is teaching a training class, creating a website or assisting agents with a transaction, people know there is a certain kind of drive within Robin that is rare.

After completing a decade as a corporate officer for a nationwide bank, Robin made a career change to real estate. She has always approached her career in real estate with passion and flair. Her high energy attitude helped many clients with all of their buying and selling needs. Relying on her background in finance and her intimate knowledge of the East Bay, Robin's professional opinion was highly regarded by her clients and resulted in ranking consistently among the top 1% of agents nationwide for sales volume.

Robin's management experience spans the last ten years. Beginning as a Sales Manager for the Danville and Blackhawk office of Alain Pinel Realtors, Robin later took on the management of the Pleasanton office for that firm. In 2003, she put her detail-oriented skills to work helping to start Intero Real Estate Services in the East Bay.

Now, as the Executive Vice President of J. Rockcliff Realtors, Robin's trademark energy has gone into overdrive.

Robin is on the Professorial Staff for Hobbs Herder Advertising teaching in their Management University. She is a Director for the California Association of Realtors and sits on the Standard Forms Advisory, Taxation and MLS committees. She has helped to write both technology and training programs. Robin holds both CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) designations. Robin currently manages the Pleasanton and Livermore offices of J. Rockcliff Realtors.

She lives in the East Bay where she has been for over 40 years with her husband Dave. Together, they have three grown sons, the oldest following in Mom's footsteps as a Realtor, one is a contractor and one a student at San Francisco State University. Keeping life in perspective are two big, loveable Golden Retrievers.

Harry Murray
Vice President, Manager
Harry Murray is Vice President of J. Rockcliff Realtors and Manager of J. Rockliff Danville. Mr. Murray has over three decades of experience in real estate management, from branch offices to the corporate level.

Since his career began, Mr. Murray has set an unparalleled standard of integrity and professionalism for himself and those with whom he works. As Vice President, Mr. Murray plays a pivotal role in J. Rockcliff’s growth, advancing its position as a leader in the real estate industry. As Manager of J. Rockcliff Danville, he provides agents with his years of experience and vast knowledge of the real estate market. Prior to joining J. Rockcliff, Mr. Murray was Vice President of Intero Real Estate Services and Managing Officer of Intero Saratoga. Mr. Murray also served as Vice President and Directing Officer, and the Broker of Record with Alain Pinel Realtors since joining the company in 1990. During his tenure with Alain Pinel, he managed their Los Gatos office and went on to manage their Saratoga office for 11 years. Before that, Mr. Murray managed the Los Gatos office of Fox and Carskadon for over a decade.

Besides real estate, Mr. Murray is passionate about his charitable endeavors. Most notably, Mr. Murray was a longtime member of the Board of Directors for the East field Ming Quong Foundation, which provides treatment to physically abused children. He was also the Chairman of the organization’s annual Strawberry Festival for nine years. Mr. Murray’s spare time is spent in many exciting outdoor pursuits, including owning an offshore race boat, flying helicopters, and riding motorcycles.

Vance Smith
Vice President, Manager
Vance Smith has been an East Bay resident since 1978. As a real estate broker, with over 30 years of experience, Vance has seen the area evolve for three decades.

Upon graduating from West Virginia University in 1968, Vance entered the U. S. Army as a lieutenant. After a 2 year tour, including a year in Vietnam, Vance entered the corporate world. Having spent several years in sales and sales management for Carlisle Corporation and Johnson & Johnson, Vance discovered he possessed a passion for the real estate industry, which still burns.

As an agent he was consistently a member of The President’s Club, a distinction awarded to top producers. Vance has spent the past 25 years as a real estate sales manager and Vice President for several East Bay firms. Vance and his agents are known for their integrity and tenacity. Product knowledge and superior negotiation skills offer their clientele a competitive edge.

Vance and his wife Sue, who is also a realtor with J. Rockcliff Realtors, live in Danville. They have two children, Erica, who lives in Spain, and Adam, a senior at Chico State. During his leisure time you will find Vance on the golf course at Blackhawk. Vance is a member of Diablo Valley Vietnam Veterans and The American Legion.

Helene Freeman
Vice President, Manager
Ms. Freeman has accomplished a lifetime of achievements in her 28 years as a real estate professional. As a 37-year resident of Contra Costa County, Ms. Freeman’s knowledge of her marketplace and the surrounding communities is unsurpassed.

With a long list of awards and recognitions in real estate sales, she has distinguished herself in the Bay Area and nationwide as a professional with the focused energy to get results. As a manager, Ms. Freeman leads by example and bases her management philosophy on J. Rockcliff Realtors principles of "Integrity, Compassion, Loyalty, Commitment, and Professionalism." She is a mentor to agents, listens and assists in decision-making, and has a primary emphasis on channeling the energy of the office in a positive manner. The result has been an accomplished group of agents responsible for a consistently successful office. Ms. Freeman’s achievements come from hard work that translates into results for those with whom she works with.

Ms. Freeman is actively involved in her community and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Contra Costa Association of Realtors, and Bay East Association of Realtors.

Ellen Anderson
Vice President, Manager
Ellen Anderson is Vice President of J. Rockcliff Realtors and Manager of J. Rockcliff Realtors, Orinda. Ellen Anderson's experience in residential real estate sales in the San Francisco East Bay region began in 1984.

As the manager of the Orinda office, Ellen Anderson is committed to guiding agents to realize a successful career in real estate, assisting them in as serving their clients in the best possible way with their real estate sales and acquisitions. J. Rockcliff Realtors was formerly Intero Real Estate Services, an office which Ellen opened in 2003 and grew to over 50 agents in less than 3 years. Previously, she was a Sales manager and agent with Alain Pinel in Danville, and prior to that, she was Operations Managers and Senior Sales Consultant with Pacific Union Residential Brokerage in Danville. Ellen gained her experience as a Realtor Associate with Coldwell Banker's Danville office from 1984-1990.

Ms. Anderson graduated Cum Laude from University of South Carolina in 1971. She is a member of the national Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, several Bay Area MLS organizations, as well as the Porsche Club of the Diablo Region. In 2006, Ellen also received her designation as an Ecobroker allowing her to work with environmentally concerned clients with the knowledge needed to provide them information and guidance in that area.
